1. Introduction
In order to use the internet, every device needs an IP (Internet Protocol) address.
This section will deal with how networked devices are accessed and how IP addresses are resolved into more user-friendly addresses.
So for example, how it is possible to get to Google by typing www.google.co.uk, rather than 213.202.237.196 (which is the actual Google IP address)
