WYSIWYG

Stands for 'What You See Is What You Get'.

This term is used to describe applications that allow you to design something visually. For example, a form in a database may be designed by dragging visual boxes and icons around the design screen.

WYSIWYG word processors mean what is seen on the screen will be printed exactly as it looks.
