Secondary Data
This is data that was collected for one purpose and is then used for a different purpose
For example, a loyalty card scheme collects data about every items you have purchased. The scheme does this in order to work out your reward points. The purchase data is 'Primary data'.
If this data is then used to work out the best-sellers, this is 'secondary data'.
