Logic Bomb
A logic bomb is a malicious piece of code inserted into an application or system that remains dormant until certain conditions are met e.g. a certain date is reached. When the trigger condition occurs, the code runs and starts to corrupt records and data files.
It is not as dramatic as it sounds, but it can be a real problem.
