Broadcast

This means to send the same information to many people. You 'broadcast' the information.

For example, television is a broadcast system. The television studio will broadcast its programme to its audience at home.

The opposite of 'Broadcast' is 'Narrowcast'. This is where the information is sent to only a few select people or groups.
