This excellent project is designed to run throughout the whole of Year 9. It aims to give students continuity on a project and to get them to think about all of the different aspects which would be required in order to create a whole, comprehensive system.

Students are asked to design a job advertisement for a new manager for the theatre.

Mail Merge

Students will then invite a list of candidates to attend an interview.

They will use a pre-prepared list of names and addresses which they can merge into a letter.

Students need to be able to keep track of salaries being paid to staff.

They are going to create their own spreadsheet. The one provided here can be used to give them an idea of how to approach this task.

Students will create a system which can be used to record seat bookings in the theatre.
